About me

I live on Auckland’s North Shore with my husband, our two teenagers, and Mojo the staffy. We moved to our property in 2020 and have spent the years since building our home and restoring the land — removing gorse and noxious weeds and replanting with natives. It’s a peaceful, grounding place, and one that many clients comment on when they arrive.

Most of my work is now online, though I also see local clients in person. My clinic is located at our home, with private access from the deck. For first appointments, I’ll meet you at the car park and guide you through.

My work

My clinical focus is women’s metabolic health — particularly across midlife and post-menopause.

I work with women experiencing weight gain, fatigue, blood sugar instability, digestive symptoms, and a sense that their body is no longer responding the way it once did. In many cases, these concerns are not about willpower or discipline, but about underlying metabolic stress driven by blood sugar imbalance, hormonal change, sleep disruption, and chronic load.

My approach integrates clinical nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and health coaching to support sustainable metabolic function — without dieting, extremes, or unnecessary complexity.

Clinical approach

My work is grounded in physiology rather than diet culture.

I place particular emphasis on:

  • Blood sugar regulation and insulin sensitivity

  • Metabolic resilience in midlife and beyond

  • Food-first, evidence-based strategies that people can realistically sustain

I aim to translate complex metabolic science into practical food choices, daily habits, and simple systems that fit real life. Calm, clarity, and consistency are central to the way I work.

Early improvements matter. Helping clients experience a meaningful shift early on builds confidence and momentum, while we continue to address the deeper foundations of health.

Training and professional roles

Before moving into clinical practice, I had a successful career in the food industry, but always felt drawn toward natural and preventive health.

I completed a Bachelor of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine and was awarded the Best Clinical Practitioner Award in 2022. My postgraduate training includes clinical nutrition, empowered eating, health and nutrition coaching, and clinical experience with the Auckland Gut Clinic.

Alongside my private practice, I also work in education and programme development.

I am a Clinical Health Coach embedded within a GP practice, supporting patients with metabolic conditions through behaviour change, education, and lifestyle intervention.

I am also a Health Coach Tutor with the Holistic Performance Institute, mentoring and training future health coaches within an evidence-informed, client-centred framework.

How I work with clients

My approach is calm, practical, and clinically grounded.

I’m known for simplifying complex health information and helping clients understand how their symptoms, lifestyle, hormones, and metabolism are connected. The goal is not to overwhelm, but to empower — giving people clarity and confidence in the decisions they’re making about their health.

Whether someone is seeking a short reset or longer-term support, care is always tailored to individual needs, capacity, and priorities.

Working together

If you’re wondering whether working together might be helpful, you’re welcome to book a complimentary initial assessment. This is a no-pressure opportunity to explore what’s going on for you and decide whether the approach feels like the right fit.
