I live on border of Coatesville and Dairy Flat with my husband, two teens and Mojo the staffy. We purchased the property in 2020 and have spent the years since building a 3D printed house and spending all of our spare time removing gorse and noxious weeds and replanting with natives. It’s a very peaceful place to visit.
Most of my clients are online, but the locals love coming here for consultations. *My clinic is situated at the house and access is off the deck. At our first appointment I’ll meet you by the car park and guide you to the door.
Like most women I had my fair share of health issues growing up, and although Mum was a nurse I was never drawn to practice Western medicine. I love medical science, but always found Western medicine too limited, it does nothing to empower health and wellbeing ~ which is the space I feel called to.
I had a distinguished career in the food industry but always yearned to be in natural health. So when the opportunity to do a Bachelor of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine arose I went for it ~ receiving the honour of Best Clinical Practitioner Award in 2022. Post grad. qualifications include nutrition coaching, empowered eating certification, clinical nutrition and an internship at the Auckland Gut Clinic.
Giving my clients agency over their future health and vitality is a huge driving force for me.
My approach is probably best described as practical and pragmatic. I have a reputation for simplifying complex health jargon, giving my clients the tools to understand their health and how it all fits together.
Combining herbal medicine, nutrition and naturopathy with health coaching helps clients to get wins from their treatment plan right off the bat.
